Kristoffer Hegnsvad
Director, Producer, Script

Kristoffer Hegnsvad is a director, writer, and producer, known for Laamb (2013) and Looking for Exits: Conversations with a Wingsuit Artist (2016). He is the chief editor of film and television at Dagbladet Politiken, Denmark’s biggest daily newspaper, and the author of the award-winning book ‘Werner Herzog’ (2021).

Nicholas Zajicek
Director of Photography, Producer, Editor

Based in Brighton and Dubai, Nicholas Zajicek gained over 20 years of experience in the film industry working on news, documentary and commercial projects. Starting out with a degree in archaeology, he switched direction to follow his passion into filming and photography working as a London based camera assistant on BBC studio drama. Nick traveled in well over 100 countries for work and pleasure.

Christopher Herwig
Photography, Producer, Editor, Script

Christopher Herwig has worked as the official photographer for the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Liberia, West Africa.  He has provided photos from some of the remotest regions of the world, from the Pamir mountains in Tajikistan to the rainforests of West Africa, for publications including GEO, CNN traveler, Geographical, Lonely Planet, DAMN magazine and many more. He has worked with non-government organizations and development agencies in some of the poorest parts of the world to put a human face to their statistics.

He is the author of three bestselling books: Soviet Bus Stops, Soviet Bus Stops Volume II and Soviet Metro Stations.

Ian Toews
Producer

Ian Toews is the producer, director, and DOP of more than 90 television episodes, 7 short films, and 8 full-length documentaries, including the Gemini Award winning series Landscape as Muse and the Canadian Screen Award nominated theatrical feature and digital media project Bugs on the Menu. Other productions include, Etthén Heldeli: Caribou Eaters (2020 Canadian Screen Award Nominee: Best Documentary Program), and four season of the documentary series Ageless Gardens (2022 Canadian Screen Award Nominee). His latest documentary series Visionary Gardeners premiered on VisionTV in 2022.

Janis Lusens Jr. and Janis Lusens- (Zodiac) Score

In 1979 while still in school studying to be a music composer Janis Lusens formed the experimental instrumental music band called Zodiac. Limited by trade restrictions Janis experimented in the beginning with homemade synthesizers to develop the bands out of this world sound. The resulting albums were a major success and sold over 20 million copies all over the world. The film includes original music from Zodiac’s early albums as well as new material composed in partnership with his son Janis Lusens Jr.

Jason Britski
Editor

Jason Britski is an independent filmmaker. His films and videos have been screened in such film festivals as Toronto International, Rotterdam, Ann Arbor, Hamburg Short, Revelation Perth International, Tampere in Finland, and Cork in Ireland. His work has screened in forty-three countries. Over the course of his career Jason has made numerous experimental films, documentary TV episodes for broadcast, and two feature length documentaries. He edited the 2020 Canadian Screen Award nominated (Best Documentary Program) Etthén Heldeli: Caribou Eaters. Jason has worked in the industry as a producer, director, videographer, sound recordist, sound editor, but primarily as a picture editor.
